Reviews for GOSCINIEC Polskie Pierogi
Review highlights
Based on 17,002 reviewsGOŚCINIEC Polskie Pierogi is widely praised for its authentic Polish cuisine, offering a variety of traditional dishes that are both flavorful and reasonably priced. Reviewers frequently highlight the welcoming atmosphere, which is enhanced by rustic decor and a pleasant view from the second floor. The service is generally described as attentive and friendly, although some mention occasional delays with billing. Food quality is mostly appreciated, with particular acclaim for soups and certain specialties like Tatar and crepes, though there are occasional minor inconsistencies noted, such as overly crispy bread and under-seasoned pierogi. Overall, the restaurant is recognized as a reliable destination for experiencing classic Polish fare in a comfortable setting, making it a recommended choice for both locals and visitors seeking traditional flavors on a busy main street location.
Great service and food. You can try typical polish cuisine here at a good price. Our waitress was very nice and we didn’t have to wait long to get our order. It was a bit slow for the bill though, but overall it is a great place. Keep in mind they add 10% service fee automatically.
I would say this is the best place to try national cuisine. Apart from it, here you can find of the cheapest and tastiest Tatar in town - the portion is huge so be sure to come hungry. I also love their Lemoniada. The second floor is quiet and has a nice view on the statue of Mickiewicz.
Amazing food and excellent service! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every dish was fresh and flavorful. Definitely a place I’ll come back to and recommend to friends
We had a good lunch at Gośniciec. The staff was efficient and took care of our needs. The atmosphere represented its name (rural road) by these beautiful paintings on the walls. The food was partly good, the soups were excellent, but the bread for bigos was too crispy like when you would warm up a week-old forgotten bread. The pierogi pieces had never seen salt before, but they fulfilled my special need about the pickled cucumber. Overall, it was a good experience.
Typical Polish restaurant. We tried the crepes and they are delicious! The staff is really nice and gentle. Great place on the main street. Recommended!
In terms of price-to-quality ratio, this seems like one of the best deals, especially in a tourist area. Friday at 6pm the entire terrace was full, so definitely book ahead like we did (party of 6 - left contact info on their website and got email confirmation). Waitress was courteous, polite, spoke Polish and English fluently, and asked about serving order - something you don't always see in restaurants. We ordered pierogi mix platters with sour cream - they were tasty. Certainly not the best pierogi I've had, but for the price they're definitely worth it. The soup was hearty and filling. Only suggestion would be to add more tartness to the lemonades. Overall recommend for a good Polish food experience without breaking the bank.
I absolutely loved this place!!! The interior is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the food was delicious. I had the potato pancake with goulash, easily the best I’ve had in Poland! Their lemonade was also surprisingly good, refreshing and not too sour. Highly recommend!
Werinka was lovely! She made our experience truly amazing. The food was incredible, and we had the best Polish experience in Warsaw. I’m definitely coming back 100% recommended! Dziękuję
